Review Overview – What does Alpha Testosterone Booster do?

Made by Neovicta, Alpha is a testosterone booster that we’ve been asked about a lot to review.

alpha-testosterone-reviewIt’s received a lot of mixed reviews on Amazon, and a lot of you want to know if it is really worth the money.

We’ve done the research and found the answer to that the question.

On the face of it, Alpha Testosterone Booster claims to:

  • Increase Muscle Growth
  • Improve Power
  • Raise Libido

But we’ve found evidence that shows otherwise.

Read on to see what the real story is:

How are the servings in Alpha?

With only one serving a day, there’s a 24 hour period between servings that your T-levels are not supplied with the nutrients they need. There’s too much time between servings and they can easily return to their baseline levels.

What you should be looking for:

Ideally, you want a testosterone booster that supplies around 3 – 4 servings a day. This ensures that you’re constantly getting a supply of the nutrients you need so they can constantly progress.

P.S.: You can find the T-Boosters that do this the best by checking out our top 3 in the link below:

What about the ingredients?

Not the best.

Overall there was only one real ingredient here to help with production of testosterone, and on top of that all of the doses were hidden behind proprietary blends.

This means we have no idea

Take a look, we’ve written up the most important ones:alpha-testosterone-supp-facts

Indoe-3carbinol isn’t the best choice…

Although it sounds like a complicated chemical I3C, is a compound that’s found in green vegetables like broccoli. It’s thought to have some effect in suppressing estrogen, but not a lot of evidence is there to support this.

Chrysin and Resveratrol falls into the same boat…

Found in mushrooms, the only study that has shown chrysin to have any effect on testosterone levels is after it was injected directly into a subject’s testicles.

All studies involving oral consumption of the nutrient have been unreliable.

Whereas the Resveratrol doesn’t help with T-levels but may improve blood flow.

The Fenugreek however is a better choice…

This is mainly a libido enhancing nutrient, but it does have its merits when it comes to boosting testosterone.

With it’s ability to regulate blood sugar, Fenugreek reduces the amount of Sex Hormone Binding Gloublin (SHGB) in your body.

SHBG is the protein in your body which binds to testosterone cells, and strips them of their anabolic potency so the less of it the better.

The LongJack is a bit of a waste of time…

Seen in numerous studies to only help raise libido.

There have been no reports of this nutrient raising libido.

The 3,4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran is essentially Stinging Nettle, but that’s not a bad thing…

Studies have shown that 3,4-D can bind with SHBG and inhibit and prevent it from using up testosterone.

Unfortunately though we don’t know how much is in Neovicta’s Alpha to see how effective this actually is.

And the Milk Thistle and N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine help the liver…

These are more for detoxifying the liver, something you’d find in a PCT after taking methylated pro-hormones.

They’re no used to our testosterone levels, but could be useful if you’ve just finished a cycle.alpha-testosterone

Ingredients Bottom Line:

Overall this is a pretty poor ingredient profile. The only real effective nutrient in Alpha appears to be the Fenugreek, and maybe the stinging nettle at a push (although there needs to be a lot to be effective).

The rest of it appears to be pretty much a wash. There may be some benefit to your libido, but we’re not holding out hope.

Side Effects

There have been no side effects reported in this product.

Is there anything better than Alpha?

We’ve done the research, and looked far and wide for the best supplements on the market that promote:

  1. Muscle Gains
  2. Fat Loss
  3. Testosterone Levels
  4. Energy
  5. Mood
  6. Sex Drive

And it we’ve finally narrowed it down to just three.

These are the best testosterone boosters on the market, that both myself and our readers agree provide the best results. You can check them out below:

Neovicta Alpha Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion

Overall this is a pretty poor testosterone booster.

The two main features of this product; the servings and the ingredients, are both in poor form, with the only good ingredient here being the Fenugreek.

Here’s what we found:

  • Poor Servings – With only one serving a day, your T-levels are starved of the nutrients they need for 24 hours at a time
  • Proprietary Blends – We don’t know how much we’re getting of each ingredient, and by extension how effective they’ll be
  • Ineffective Ingredients – Fenugreek is the only good testosterone booster in this mix

All in all we would not recommend Alpha to anyone until these changes are made.
