Review Overview – What does ADP AlphaMax do?

Made by ADP, this is an all natural testosterone booster that is claimed to promote:

  • Testosterone
  • Strength
  • Energy
  • Blood Flow

alphamax-mens-health-review-1

But how effective is it?

In this review, we look closely at AlphaMax to see how good it really is, this is what you need to know:

How are the servings?

Poor.

With only 1 serving a day, this isn’t your best option for testosterone boosting.

To consistently raise testosterone, your body needs a constant supply of the nutrients required.

Only topping up once a day, starves your hormones for 24 hours at a time. It’s not good.

Ideally what you need is something that gives you 3 – 4 servings a day, this will keep your T levels constantly ticking over and on the rise.

What about the ingredients in ADN AlphaMax?

Not that great.

The first problem is the proprietary blend.

You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it will be overall – non of the individual dosages are labelled.

On top of that, many of the nutrients used are outdated and have been shown to be ineffective in studies.

Here’s what you need to know about the main nutrients:alphamax-mens-health-side-effects

Zinc

One of the better minerals for testosterone production.

Zinc is used for numerous processes in the brain to promote the Luteinzing Hormone (LH).

This is the pre cursor to both testosterone and growth hormone – it’s a great addition.

L-Arginine

A poorer choice.

Used to promote blood flow, L-Arginine is used by your body to promote nitric oxide – a vasodilator which promotes blood flow.

Unfortunately however, it doesn’t work effectively with oral supplementation.

L-Citrulline

A better choice.

L-Citrulline is an absorbable amino acid that your body can convert into L-arginine and bypass the problem.

The only issue is the dosage – for maximum blood flow you need around 5 – 8g to see real effective results.

Which definitely isn’t the case in AlphaMax.

Fenugreek

A good choice for T.

Fenugreek is great for libido and can help with testosterone levels.

With its ability to regulate sugar levels, fenugreek can help reduce overall insulin levels.

This is important as insulin is known to directly effect testosterone levels and lower them.

The less of it you have the better.

LongJack

A bad choice.

Also known as Eurycoma Longifolia, LongJack was believed to boost testosterone – and marketed as such.

However studies have shown this just ins t the case, it had no effect on T-levels.

At most it may give your libido a mild boost.

Beetroot

Not a testosterone booster in any sense.

Beet may help restore electrolytes you may have lost throughout the day – but as far as boosting your T goes, it won’t make that much of a difference.

Horny Goat Weed

Much like LongJack, this isn’t a great option for T.

Horny Goat Weed was another nutrient aggressively marketed by supplement companies – but it’s actual effectiveness is negligible.

You’ll be lucky to see it have any effect, it’ll vaguely help libido.

Knotweed

A Japenese plant extract.

May promote blood flow but not to a beneficial extent.

Maca

May have a mild effect on libido but nothing on testosterone.

Maca is a ‘male health’ herb that provides very little results, it has a small effect on Libido and nothing on T-levels.

It’s a pretty outdated nutrient.

Tribulus

One of the worst t-boosters on the market.

Tribulus gets a lot of hype – and essentially no results.

There have been no reliable studies which show this herb to raise testosterone levels, it may have a mild effect on libido.

It’s definitely not going to help you boost testosterone.

Muira Puama

A cognitive booster that could help mental performance.

Muira Puama is a brain booster for cognitive health – but don’t get exicited.

Studies have shown that the effects of MP are quite unreliable – and that the results associated with it may even be placebo effect.

It’s not great – and it won’t boost T levels.

Saw Palmetto

Not a testosterone booster – but a good promoter of male health.

Saw Palmetto has been linked to supporting prostate health and has even been seen to mildly reduce the symptoms of hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).

Although not significant, it should have some effect.

Nettle Root

Good for testosterone availability.

By its ability to inhibit Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG – a protein that strips testosterone of its anabolic potency), nettle root reduces the proteins activity allowing more testosterone to freely flow through you.alphamax-mens-health-results

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, AlphaMax has a pretty poor nutrient profile.

The main thing you have to take into account here is that so many of the ingredients used lack clinical backing – so many mistakes have been made.

There are some good ingredients but the cons seem to be outweighing the pros.

On top of that, the proprietary blends aren’t helping anyone – we don’t know how much of each ingredient we’re getting or how effective it will be overall.

It’s not a great layout.

Side Effects

The choices may be poor – but the nutrients are clean.

No side effects have been reported with AlphaMax.

Is there anything better than this Testosterone Booster?

There absolutely is.

We’ve done the research, and looked far and wide for the best supplements on the market that promote:

  1. Muscle Gains
  2. Fat Loss
  3. Testosterone Levels
  4. Energy
  5. Mood
  6. Sex Drive

And it we’ve finally narrowed it down to just three.

These are the best testosterone boosters on the market, that both myself and our readers agree provide the best results. You can check them out below:

ADN AlphaMax Review Conclusion

On the whole, this isn’t the best testosterone booster on the market and there are several reasons why.

From this review, this is what you need to know about AlphaMax;

  • Poor Servings – With only 1 serving a day, the T boosting process will be slower and more difficult.
  • Ineffective ingredients – Many of the ingredients used aren’t backed by clinical trials and have been debunked over the last few years.
  • Proprietary blends – You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it will be overall.

As you can see, it’s not that great.
