But how well does it really work?

In this review, we look closer at HaloTropin to see how effective it really is.

This is what you need to know:

How are the servings?

Good.

With 3 servings a day, this T-booster gives your body a regular supply of nutrients to help keep boosting T throughout the day.

The delivery system is good – but the ingredients are also a major point here.

What about the ingredients in HaloTropin?

They could be a lot better.

Although there are some good choices in HaloTropin, the problem is the proprietary blend.

We don’t know how much of each ingredient we’re getting – or how effective it will be overall.

On top of that, there are a lot of ineffective ingredients in the mix as well.

Here’s what you need to know:halotropin-side-effects

Magnesium

One of the better choices for free testosterone.

Magnesium can be used by your body to reduce active SHBG – Sex Hormone Binding Globulin.

SHBG is a protein that binds to the male hormone and strips it of its anabolic potency – essentially making it useless.

With Magnesium inhibiting SHBG, more testosterone can circulate in your system freely.

Zinc

A good choice for testosterone production.

Studies have shown that zinc is used for various reactions in the brain to promote the Luteinzing Hormone (LH) – this is the precursor to both testosterone and growth hormone.

With more LH the testosterone your body will produce.

Ashwagandha

An indirect testosterone booster, but still effective.

Ashwagandha has been seen to reduce your body’s overall levels of cortisol – the stress hormone.

Cortisol has a direct effect on testosterone levels and can lower them significantly.

With less cortisol in your system, the higher your T-levels can rise.

Fenugreek

One of the better choices for free testosterone.

Fenugreek works by regulating blood sugar and insulin.

Insulin is known to directly interfere with testosterone, much like cortisol.

With less insulin, your testosterone levels can rise. Plus fenugreek also has some effects on libido.

Avena Sativa

This is where the blend falls down.

Avena Sativa is extracted from oat extract, but it’s not all that great.

Once thought to boost testosterone, studies have shown that this nutrient has minimal effects on T, and is definitely not a good option.

Tongkat Ali

A poor T-Booster.

Also known as LongJack, TA was thought to help raise testosterone.

Unfortunately, further studies showed that this is not the case.

Tongkat Ali’s effects are minimal, with its only real benefit being a mild boost to libido. But even that is unreliable.

Nettle

A better choice.

Similar to magnesium, Nettle root is good at inhibiting SHBG.

This may help free up more testosterone.

Rhodiola Rosea

More of a cognitive enhancer.

Rhodiola Rosea may help with mood and focus – what it won’t help with is testosterone.

Maca

Similar to LongJack.

Maca was thought to boost testosterone – but studies have shown otherwise.

The only benefit you might get from Maca is a mild boost in libido.

Tribulus Terrestris

Tribulus falls into the same category.

Although aggressively marketed as a testosterone booster – the studies behind Tribulus aren’t that positive.

On the whole it’s nothing more than a glorified libido enhancer – and those effects are pretty unreliable.

DIM

Derived from Broccoli.

DIM is thought to help reduce estrogen. Although thoughts about this nutrient are positive, there has been no conclusive evidence to prove that it does so.

Mucuna Pruriens

A good source of L-Dopa.

Mucuna Pruriens have been seen to lower cortisol levels while increasing dopmine and serotonin.

It improves mood and decreases stress – which definitely helps testosterone.

Bulbine Natalensis

A testosterone booster with a major drawback.

Although Bulbine Natalensis may improve testosterone, studies have shown that it may cause side effects, the main being organ damage. It’s toxicity is definitely a worry.

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile out there.

Although there are some good ingredients in HaloTropin – the proprietary blend ruins it.

You don’t know how much you’re getting of each ingredient, or how effective it will be overall.

On top of that, many of the ingredients are ineffective – and some can even cause side effects.

The cons definitely outweigh the pros on this one.

Side Effects

The Bulbine Natalensis is definitely a worry.

Having been linked to causing organ damage – similar to steroid cycle, this is something you definitely don’t want to put in your body.

Is there anything better than this Testosterone Booster?

There absolutely is.

We’ve done the research, and looked far and wide for the best supplements on the market that promote:

  1. Muscle Gains
  2. Fat Loss
  3. Testosterone Levels
  4. Energy
  5. Mood
  6. Sex Drive

And it we’ve finally narrowed it down to just three.
