How are the servings?

Could be better.

With only 2 servings a day, there’s only some much benefit you can expect from this testosterone booster.

Your body can only absorb such at a time, for the best results you need 3 – 4 servings a day.

This ensures that your body gets a constant supply of the nutrients you need and keeps your body in that pro-testosterone environment.

What about the ingredients is Alpha T?

Not that great.

There are only a few good ingredients in this product – and there are a lot of ineffective ones.

There may also be a strange side effect risk.

Here’s what you need to know:

Fenugreek

One of the better choices for libido, and helps with testosterone levels.

Fenugreek has been seen to help regulate blood sugar levels which can help lower insulin levels.

Insulin can directly interfere with testosterone levels.

With lower insulin levels, your testosterone has more potential to rise.

DIM

Extracted from brocolli.

This component is believed to be an estrogen suppressant that can help reduce your overall amount of the female hormone.

However, there have not been enough strong studies to prove this.

Eurycoma Longifolia

Also known as LongJack, and not a good option.

This isn’t a great testosterone booster. Although marketed to help with T, studies have shown otherwise.

In reality this ingredient doesn’t do much at all, in fact the most you’ll get may be a mild boost in libido.

Mucuna Pruriens

One of the better nutrients for boosting testosterone.

Containing L-Dopa, Mucuna Pruriens helps boost feel good hormones like dopamine and serotonin.

It can also help to lower cortisol – the stress hormone, which directly interferes with testosterone.

The less cortisol in your system the better, and the higher chance your testosterone has of rising.

Loquat Leaf

A traditional Chinese herb that may help with respiratory problems and coughing.

It will not have any effect on testosterone levels.

Tribulus Terrestris

One of the poorer testosterone boosters on the market.

Although aggressively marketed as a testosterone booster – there are no reliable studies that back up the claims made.

It has not been seen to boost testosterone – and at most it may only boost libido.

Vitex Agnus Extract

A strange addition.

Used to help with premenstrual syndrome, and more troublingly, raise estrogen in animal studies.

This nutrient may actually raise the female hormone in your body, rather than hinder it.

Avena Sativa

A form of oat extract – thought to boost testosterone.

Although this sounds promising, studies have shown that the effects are very unreliable – with not much being proven that it can actually raise testosterone.

It won’t have much of an effect.

N-Methyl-D-Aspartic

It’s a good ingredient – but there’s only 25mg.

Aspartic Acid has been seen to be used in several reactions in the brain to help create the luteinizing hormone (LH) the precursor to both growth hormone and testosterone.

The only problem here is the dosage. Studies have shown you need 1500mg+ to see any real effect. 25mg will make little to no difference.

Side Effects

The only real risk here is with the Vitex Agnus.

Some animal studies have shown that it may be linked to increasing estrogen levels.

It doesn’t seem like a good option.
