Review Overview – What does TestoBoost do?

testoboost-reviewTestoBoost is an all natural testosterone booster from BioScience Nutrition.

Claimed to promote:

  • Energy
  • Muscle Mass
  • Testosterone
  • Sex Drive

But how well does it actually do this?

In this review, we put TestoBoost to the test to see how effective it actually is, this is what we found:

How are the servings?

Poor.

With only 1 serving per day, TestoBoost isn’t doing its upmost to give you the best results.

There’s only so much the body can absorb at a time, and of course the supply has to be consistent.

Leaving 24 hour gaps between servings can really tank your progress.

Ideally you want 3 – 4 serving a per day. This keeps your nutrient flow consistent and allows your t levels to constantly progress.

What about the ingredients in TestoBoost?

They could be a lot better.

We’re not going to lie, a lot of the ingredients used in TestoBoost are outdated and ineffective.

We only found 2 clinically proven ingredients that make a difference.

Take a look at what we’ve found:testoboost-side-effects

Magnesium

One of the better free testosterone boosters. Magnesium helps you have more available testosterone.

It works by inhibiting your body’s Sex Hormone Binding Globulin – the protein that binds to testosterone and strips it of its anabolic potency. Essentially what makes it work.

Magnesium inhibits SHBG and ceases it’s effect. It will reduce the amount of active SHBG in your system and allow you to have more available testosterone.

Zinc

Linked to testosterone production.

Zinc is used by several processes in the brain to promote the Luteinzing Hormone (LH).

LH is key to producing both testosterone and growth hormone. It’s ideal for more T.

Tribulus

Tribulus on the other hand isn’t so effective.

Once thought to promote testosterone, this all turned out to be clever marketing.

Tribulus hasn’t been seen in studies to promote testosterone – at most it may have a mild effect on your libido. But not much else.

Chrysin

Another poor choice. Chrysin is a mushroom extract.

Chrysin does have some benefit to testosterone levels – but there’s a catch.

The only study where Chrysin has been proven to work was not through oral supplementation – it was injected directly into the testes.

It has not worked when swallowed. You won’t get any benefit from it in TestoBoost.

Horny Goat Weed and LongJack

Similar to Tribulus, both of these ingredients were thought at one point to promote testosterone levels.

This however, turned out to not be the case.

Neither Horny Goat Weed or LongJack promote testosterone levels – however they may have some minor effect on libido.

Saw Palmetto

Not a testosterone booster – but can still help male health.

Saw Palmetto has been seen in numerous studies to help promote overall prostate health and ease the symptoms of hyperplasia (enlarged prostate).

If you’ve been on a cycle of prohormones and concerned about your prostate’s size – this may help.

Hawthorne Berry

Good as an anti inflammatory, but not much else. Hawthorne may help with irritation and swelling – not testosterone.

Cissus Quaduranglaris

Again, linked to inflammation.

Cissus Quaduranglaris may help with joint health.

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole this is far from the best testosterone booster on the market.

There are only 2 good ingredients in TestoBoost: Zinc and Magnesium. Take those out of the picture and you’re not left with much else.

There’s also a bunch of outdated ingredients here; tribulus, horny goat weed, LongJack, they all have their problems.

It’s a bad nutrient profile.

BioScience Nutrition TestoBoost Review Conclusion

All in all, this definitely isn’t the best testosterone booster out there.

From this review, this is what you need to know about TestoBoost:

  • Only 2 reliable ingredients – Zinc and Magnesium are the only good T-Boosters here.
  • Ineffective ingredients – Many of the nutrients used are outdated.
  • Poor Servings – With only 1 serving a day, you won’t be able to achieve day long testosterone boosting.

As you can see, it’s not the best option.
