Review Overview – What does Phenom Health’s TestX Core do?

testx-core-reviewManufactured by Phenom Health, TestX Core is an all natural testosterone booster that is claimed to promote:

  • Testosterone
  • Energy
  • Muscle Mass
  • Stamina

But just how effective is it really?

In this review, we look closer at the facts behind TestX Core to see how good it really is, and if it’s worth the investment.

This is what we found:

How are the servings?

Poor.

With only one serving a day, the directions for TestX Core aren’t the best out there.

Natural testosterone boosting is a long process, and it takes time.

Your body needs regular top ups to get the best results. Ideally, you need 3 – 4 a day to ensure your body gets that constant supply.

What about the ingredients in TestX Core?

Okay – but not amazing.

There are some good choices in TestX Core, some of which are even clinically backed.

However, a few of the ingredients are outdated and have been disproven to work in numerous studies.

This is what you need to know about the ingredients used here:testx-core-side-effects

Magnesium

One of the better choices for free testosterone.

Inhibiting Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, the protein that saps testosterone of its anabolic potency – this mineral is great for improving your overall T.

Saw Palmetto

Not a testosterone booster but good for male heath.

Saw Palmetto has been seen to help mildly with prostate hyperplasia – essentially enlarged prostates.

Panax Ginseng Root

A good t-booster albeit indirectly.

Ginseng has been seen not only to raise libido, but to help manage insulin levels.

High insulin levels directly interfere with testosterone and can lower your overall T.

With less in your system, the more T you can produce.

Tongkat Ali (LongJack)

An ineffective choice.

LongJack was originally thought to boost T but this was proved false in numerous studies.

It may boost libido, but it will do nothing for your T.

Zinc

A solid T boosting mineral.

Zinc is used for reactions in your brain to create the Luteinzing Hormone (LH).

This is the precursor to both growth hormone and testosterone. Incredibly valuable.

Fenugreek

Following a similar path to Ginseng, this is also a good ingredient.

By lowering blood sugar levels, fenugreek allows your body to produce more testosterone.

Lycopene

An anti oxidant also known as Rosmaric Acid.

There is no evidence of this nutrient promoting testosterone levels. It could help overall health – but there’s little evidence for it having any benefit.

Astaxanthin

A carotenoid that may help with inflammation.

It won’t do anything for testosterone levels.

Tribulus

Unfortunately another ineffective ingredient.

Trib, like LongJack, was once thought to raise testosterone – unfortunately studies have proved otherwise.

This nutrient has no effects on T levels, but may raise libido by a very mild extent.

L-Arginine

An under performer.

Thought to raise overall blood flow, L-Arginine has not been seen to work reliably with oral consumption.

You need something like L-Citrulline which converts in your body to L-Arginine to do the job properly.

Taurine

Increases blood flow to a mild extent.

Thought to boost energy levels – but this is a myth.

Boron

A solid choice.

Boron had been seen to both lower estrogen and boost serum testosterone,

It’s a great addition to any booster.

Vitamin D3

Arguably the best vitamin for testosterone.

Technically a hormone, Vitamin D3 has been linked to increasing bone health, immunity, testosterone and numerous other functions.

The only catch is that these studies all show its only fully effective at dosages of 3000 IUs or higher.

Ingredients Bottom Line:

Overall there are some good choices in TestX Core.

However there are also numerous ineffective ones too.

On the whole this t-booster is mediocre at best. Too many mistakes like with the LongJack and Tribulus have shown that Phenom Health are not using a fully up to date formula.

TestX Core Review Conclusion

All in all, this isn’t a bad testosterone booster – but it’s not great either.

From this review, if you’re thinking about using TestX Core, this is what you need to know:

  • Poor Servings – There’s only one a day. You need constant servings throughout the day for the best results.
  • Many ineffective ingredients – Some of the nutrients used in TestX Core lacks the proper clinical backing.

There are better options out there.
