Review Overview: What does PCT RX 650 do?
This is a PCT supplement that I’ve been getting emails about more and more. Little information is available for it online, and many guys are curious whether it will actually help you recover after a prohormone cycle. This review gets to the bottom of that question.
PCT RX 650 claims to:
- Save new gains
- Block estrogen and cortisol
- Boost testosterone
- Lifts Libido
After studying this product closely and examining the ingredients, I believe this product can only just about manage achieving one of those 4 functions.
Read on to find out which.
How does PCT RX 650 work?
The serving schedule for this supplement is actually pretty good – although it isn’t the best I’ve seen. With 2 – 3 servings a day of 1 capsule every 8 hours, this product keeps you constantly supplied with the nutrients you need to achieve a healthy recovery – that is however, if the ingredients were good.
The optimum amount of servings a day is 3 – 4 to get the best results. That’s what you should be looking for in a PCT supp.
The ingredients on the other hand did have a few good nutrients, however it didn’t cover every angle of the PCT process. Here’s the run down of them:
A form of DHEA thought to boost testosterone and decrease estrogen. This hormone, although effective, has been proven to be unreliable when orally supplemented. The only documented clinical studies were carried out on menopausal women and struggled to have any reliable evidence.
One of the main boosters of testosterone. This amino acid is great for raising levels of the lutienzing hormone (LH) in the body, a component needed for producing both testosterone and growth hormone. This will help restart your T levels after a cycle.
The only problem here is that in PCT RX 650, this addition is massively under-dosed. More than 1500mg of DAA a day is what you really need to help raise T-levels. It may not be that effective for you in this product.
Originally thought to be a solid testosterone booster, Trib was eventually debunked as a ‘fad’ t-boosting ingredient, it has never been seen to boost testosterone levels in official clinical trials.
That aside there is some evidence of it helping to enhance libido, which may be useful after a cycle. Apart from that it won’t do you much good.
Also known as Velvet Bean, Mucuna Pruriens are a great nutrient for post cycle therapy. Full of L-DOPA these nutrients, raise the amount of dopamine in the bloodstream and lower prolactin levels. Both of which need managing after a cycle.
By lowering prolactin levels Mucuna Pruriens prevent side effects of hard nipples and white discharge, which may happen with an imbalance after a cycle. It has also been seen to be an effective testosterone booster.
The only problem here is that there seems to be little focus on aromatase inhibitors, free testosterone promoters or even detoxifiers. It only seems to serve one function – boosting testosterone. And for PCT you need a lot more than that to get the job done.
Are there side effects?
No side effects have been reported, you shouldn’t have any problems with PCT RX 650.
How much does it cost?
I found it on Amazon for the price of $29.99 although you may be able to find it cheaper if you shop around.
PCT RX 650 Review Conclusion
Overall, this is nowhere near the best product for PCT on the market.
One of my main issues with it, is that it fails to tackle many of the key areas that are problems for guys right after they’ve finished their cycle.
Blocking estrogen, freeing testosterone and detoxifying the liver are all factors that Genetech Pharma Labs ignored when they created this PCT.
On top of that the testosterone resetting ingredients it does include are heavily under-dosed that hold back any potential this product has for helping you out on your cycle.
If your considering PCT RX 650 for use after your cycle, please reconsider. There are far better supplements out there that can do the job for you. You can check out my top choices on my best PCT supplements article over here.
