Review Overview: What does PCT Power do?
PCT Power is one of the main supplements for post cycle therapy that is listed on Amazon.com. It seems to have a mixed amount of feedback, but overall I’m not convinced.
This supplement claims to have a ‘3 in 1’ function that it performs throughout the body:
- Boost Testosterone
- Block Estrogen
- Detoxify After a Cycle
From what I’ve seen it can just about manage estrogen levels and detoxify the body – however, the amount of the ingredients that perform this task do not have their dosages fully listed. So I don’t have a lot of confidence in it.
For boosting testosterone on the other hand, this product really struggles. It was fairly disappointing considering one of the main reasons of this supplement is to help with the restarting of T-levels after a cycle. And judging by some of the reviews, I know I’m not the only one to think this:

How does PCT Power work?
The serving schedule for PCT Power is by no means the best I’ve seen. It requires one serving of 2 capsules just before bed, this seems to be a trend with a lot of PCT supplements and it’s not a good one.
For the most effective recovery you need a supplement that provides 3 – 4 servings throughout the day. This ensures that testosterone levels are constantly on the rise, while estrogen and the detox are continuously being taken care of.
Regardless, the ingredients were a mixed bag of good and bad. Unfortunately they were delivered under various proprietary blends, this means I had no idea how much of each nutrient I was getting, and struggled to get an idea of how effective it would be.
Ignoring that for a second, these are my most notable ingredients of PCT Power:
Indole-3-carbinol – Found in most green vegetables, thought to help cancer prevention in large amounts and has been seen to block estrogen metabolism in certain animals – there is no evidence that these estrogen blocking benefits will transfer over to humans.
Chrysin – Seen to help raise testosterone, but only in clinical studies where the nutrient was injected directly into the testes.
Fenugreek – A traditional medicine for raising libido, this nutrient helps increase free testosterone in the body. By lowering the body’s insulin levels, Fenugreek cuts the count of the protein Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) which is known to bind circulating testosterone and decrease T levels.
Cissus Quadrangularis – This natural nutrient is more for joint health than anything else, as fluid in the and around the joints can be decreased after a cycle.
3, 4-Dianillytetrahydrofuran (Stinging Nettle) – Free testosterone promoter. This stinging nettle lowers the count of SHBG, and creates more bio-availability of testosterone in the body.
Milk Thistle – This is definitely an after cycle treatment. This helps the liver after a course of methylated prohormones and helps detoxify it while promoting protein synthesis.
N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine – Much like the milk thistle, this anti-oxidant also helps protect the liver. Being present in the organ, it prevents against further damage.
Full List:
Honorable mention here for Tongkat Ali (Longjack), although it hasn’t been proven to help raise testosterone, there is evidence that shows it as an effective libido booster.
On the whole I’m rather disappointed with the ingredients in this PCT. Thought has gone into managing estrogen, detoxification and promoting free testosterone, however none has gone into producing T itself. This is a worry when the first thing you want to do after finishing a cycle is restarting your natural testosterone levels.
Are there side effects?
This product is completely natural and there have been no reported side effects.
How long should I use it for?
Nutracraft recommends taking PCT Power for 8 weeks.
We recommend using PCT supps that are around the 3 month range. This gives the body plenty of time to recover and gives your testosterone levels the attention they need to get back to optimum levels.

How much does it cost?
On Amazon.com we’ve found it for $39.99 for 1 month’s supply. Pretty steep, and I don’t think the quality is there to warrant such a high price.
PCT Power Review Conclusion
Overall I’d say this product is a wash.
It’s overpriced for what you’re getting and it doesn’t supply you with nearly enough to guarantee effective PCT.
The servings are the first problem, one a night of 2 capsules is not enough to keep testosterone levels rising, nor estrogen blocked or the liver detoxified.
What it needs is to have 3 – 4 servings a day to keep each process constantly topped up, protecting and supporting the body.
The next problem was the ingredients, although there were some good choices, there was no nutrients included that helped the body produce more testosterone. And to top it all off the ones that were good were hidden with other ingredients in multiple proprietary blends.
Overall this is a weak product, I do not recommend it use after a cycle. There are better choices out there and you should check them out over on my top PCT supplements page.
