Review Overview – What does MuscleTech Pro Series Alpha Test do?

muscletech-alpha-test-reviewA natural testosterone booster from the supplement giant MuscleTech comes Alpha Test from its esteemed Pro Series.

But what does it claim to do? And how does it help boost testosterone levels?

Alpha Test claims to:

  • Boost Testosterone
  • Promote Free Testosterone
  • Decrease Estrogen Levels

However, after reviewing this product and the science behind it, we’re not entirely convinced.

There’s still a lot of work that needs doing to Alpha Test by MuscleTech to make it deliver on it’s promise.

This is what we found:

How are the Servings?

Not great.

With only 2 servings a day, there’s only so much this product can do to benefit your testosterone levels.

With the big gaps between servings, your testosterone levels can only progress so much at a time – which limits the amount of muscle you can pack on.

What you should be looking for:

For the best results, always look for a T-Booster with multiple servings of around 3 – 4 a day.

This keeps your testosterone levels constantly topped up with the nutrients they need to continue to progress, and keep making you gains.

What about the Ingredients?

Okay – but there’s room for improvement.

After reviewing the ingredients of Alpha Test, there was only 3 ingredients that we actually saw as reliable for supporting testosterone levels.

Here’s what we found:alpha-test-supp-facts

The Zinc is a great start…

One of the best testosterone boosting minerals to come across.

Zinc works by being part of reactions in the brain that lead to the production of testosterone.

Specifically it helps by creating more Luteinizing Hormone (LH) the precursor to both Testosterone and Growth hormone.

Very vital.

Fenugreek is a good supporting nutrient…

This traditional herb is mainly good for libido – but it can help with testosterone.

By helping reduce and regulate blood sugar, Fenugreek helps cut down on Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG).

SHBG is a protein that binds to T-cells and strips them of their anabolic potency – and value to your muscle gains.

However the Tribulus Terrestris is garbage…

We have nothing good to say about Tribulus.

Originally thought to help boost testosterone levels, this ineffective herb has been debunked in numerous studies.

It may help boost libido but even these results are unreliable.

And the Shilajit is pretty unresearched…

A combination of mineral’s used in traditional medicine – there’s not much evidence for this boosting testosterone (Only one study performed).

It’s another unreliable ingredient, and it doesn’t look good for Alpha Test.

But the Boron is a lot better…

One of the better free testosterone boosting minerals out there.

Boron has been seen on several occasions to help boost testosterone while decreasing estrogen levels.

Although the Broccoli (DIM) Extract is pretty poor…

One of the poorer testosterone boosters out there.

This is mainly due to the complex ways the compound tries to help your hormones – it’s not always reliable.

Many studies have shown that DIM has no effect on testosterone levels – which makes it a poor choice in Alpha Test.muscletech-alpha-test-review-1

Ingredients Bottom Line

Taking everything into consideration, there are only three nutrients in this product that could actually help your test levels:

The Zinc, Fenugreek and Boron.

However, these alone are not enough for effective testosterone boosting. Many of the core ingredients like Vitamin D3, D-Aspartic Acid and Magnesium are missing from this product, and without them the overall effectiveness of the product drops dramatically.

MuscleTech Pro Series Alpha Test Review Conclusion

Overall as you can see, there are numerous things going wrong with Alpha Test that need changing before this is up to standard.

On the one hand it’s good that it includes Zinc, Fenugreek and Boron – these are all good T-Boosters.

However, on the other hand…

  • Ineffective Ingredients were used – Tribulus and DIM are incredibly poor T-Boosters.
  • Poor Servings – 2 servings a day is not enough to ensure constant T-Boosting
  • Misses Core Ingredients – Vitamin D3, DAA and Magnesium are all missing from this product

The cons generously outweigh the pros.

We definitely do not recommend this T-Booster. For what we do recommend for serious muscle gains, click the box below and visit our Top 3 T-Boosters page:
