Review Overview – What does MangaTest do?

mangatest1This is one of the more popular T-boosters we’ve been asked to review.

A natural testosterone booster produced by MangaNaturals, MangaTest is claimed to:

  • Promote Muscle and Strength
  • Free Testosterone
  • Energy

But does it actually work?

We’ve looked deep into the details behind MangaTest and have found some pretty interesting results.

How are the Servings?

Poor.

With only 2 servings a day, there’s only so much benefit your testosterone levels can get out of taking MangaTest – what you need is a constant supply of nutrients to get the best results.

What you should be looking for:

The best testosterone boosters have around 3 – 4 servings a day. This ensures that constant supply of nutrients we’re looking for to constantly boost testosterone.

What about the Ingredients?

Not brilliant.

There are a few nutrients in MagnaTest that have been seen to be effective in studies.

But there’s a problem.

The entirety of the product is in a proprietary blend.

Proprietary Blends:

These are ingredients in supplements that are grouped together under one blend – under one value.

This stops us knowing how much of each nutrient is in the product, and by extension how effective it will be.

The Horny Goat Weed is a bad start…

This herbal remedy isn’t going to help much.

Whatever you’ve heard about Horny Goat Weed let us tell you: it doesn’t boost testosterone levels.

It may help with libido, but if you’re looking for higher T, it’s the wrong thing to use.

The L-Arginine is a waste of time too…

Thought to increase pump. L-Arginine improves nitric oxide in your body to improve blood flow.

Unfortunately it isn’t absorbed well taken orally.

What you need is something like L-Citrulline, which is absorbed by your body and converted into L-Arginine in the liver – solving the problem.

The L-Arginine here won’t do much.

At this dosage, the D-Aspartic Acid doesn’t show much hope either…

Usually DAA is a great testosterone boosting nutrient – unfortunately in this case it’s under-dosed.

DAA works by helping produce more of the luteinizing hormone LH in your body. This is the precursor to both testosterone and growth hormone and helps maximize muscle gains.

Unfortunately you need at least 1500mg or above to see effective results – and in this case that’s even more than this entire product.

It won’t have much effect.

The Maca and the Tribulus won’t do much…

Neither Maca or Tribulus Terrestris have been seen to help boost testosterone.

Both have been seen to improve libido, however studies have been unreliable. They’re not a great choice for this product, and definitely not for your muscle gains.

Asian Ginseng falls into a similar category, but at least there’s some benefit…

Offering some benefit to testosterone, ginseng falls more into the libido category.

Mainly used for pump and sex drive, a side benefit of Red Ginseng is how it lowers your blood glucose levels.

This reduces the overall amount of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) in your body – a protein that binds to testosterone and strips it of its anabolic potency.

The Zinc’s good too…

Like the D-Aspartic Acid, this mineral is good for production of the luteinzing hormone (LH).

This makes it a great precursor to both testosterone and growth hormone. Ideal for making gains.

However, once again, we don’t know how much is in this product – so we can’t say how effective it will be.

Ingredients Bottom Line:

Overall this is a pretty poor T-Booster, it’s the proprietary blend that really lets it down here.

It’s a small blend to begin with so we already know we’re not getting enough D-Aspartic Acid. And with the Maca and the Tribulus doing nothing to promote testosterone, it’s a really not a great product.

MangaTest Testosterone Booster Review Conclusion

In conclusion, this is a pretty ineffective testosterone booster.

The servings aren’t the best. The main problem being is that there’s only 2 a day, and that the entire dose is only 1,098mg per day.

This leads us onto the ingredients and the fact that many of them are under-dosed due to it being such a small dose.

Add on to that the fact that we don’t the exact dosages of each nutrient because they’re all in a proprietary blend and that it contains ineffective ingredients like Maca and Tribulus – and it doesn’t look good at all.

There’s not a lot going for this product.
