Review Overview – What does Human Evolution Test Ignition do?
One of the more popular natural testosterone boosters on Bodybuilding.com and many of you are wondering if it’s up to standard.
Well here’s what we found:
Test Ignition is claimed to:
- Boost Testosterone Levels
- Improve Muscle Mass and Strength
- Enhance Sexual Health
We’ve looked deep into the science and facts behind the formulations and servings in Test Ignite and we’re surprised with what we’ve found.
These are the results:
How are the Servings?
Okay – but not great.
There’s only 2 daily servings in Test Ignition.
This means your testosterone levels aren’t being constantly supplied with the nutrients they need to grow at a continuously speedy rate.
What you should be looking for:
The best testosterone boosters out there use around 3 – 4 daily servings a day. One every few hours to keep your T-levels constantly topped up and continuously progressing into high test levels.
P.S.: You can see the T-Boosters that do this the best over on our Highest Rated Testosterone Boosters page. Check them all out in the link below:

What about the Ingredients?
Really bad.
Aside from two ingredients the rest are a waste of time, and we’ll tell you why:
Proprietary Blend.
What is a Proprietary Blend?
A proprietary blend is a combination of nutrients passed off as one ingredient. This stops us knowing how much of each individual ingredient was used in the formulation and more importantly how effective they will be.
Here’s what we found:
The Magnesium is a good start…
One of the better minerals if you’re looking to boost your free testosterone.
This is due to it’s ability to reduce the impact of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG).
SHBG is a killer of testosterone, it binds to it, takes all it’s anabolic potency (the properties that boost muscle mass) and stops you from being able to use it.
Magnesium helps solve this problem. By binding with the SHBG, Magnesium reduces the amount of T the protein can bind to, allowing you to enjoy more free testosterone.
The Zinc’s even better…
This is a key mineral to the testosterone boosting process.
Zinc is a core to the brain’s reactions for creating the Luteinizing Hormone (LH) which is the precursor to both testosterone and growth hormone.
With the more luteinizing hormone you have, the easier it is to boost your testosterone.
The D-Aspartic Acid’s good too, but this one’s heavily under-dosed…
This is a real shame.
Usually, like Zinc, DAA is used to help produce more LH and T-cells.
But Human Evolution have really dropped the ball on this one.
With only 375mg of the amino acid, you’re not going to get much benefit at all out of this nutrient.
FYI: You need from 1500mg and up on a daily basis to see some real results.
And the L-Arginine is a waste of time…
If you’re chasing a pump in the gym, chances are you’ve head of L-Arginine.
This is an amino acid that was believed to increase nitric oxide production and overall blood flow.
And it does – we just can’t absorb it orally.
Studies have shown taking this nutrient orally yields no benefits – what you need is L-Citrulline.
This is another amino acid that is broken down in the liver and converted by your body into L-Arginine solving the problem and giving you an awesome pump.
So essentially this nutrient in Test Ignition is a waste of time.
As is the Tribulus…
Tribulus Terrestris is one of the worst T-boosters you can come across – it doesn’t work.
Originally thought to boost testosterone when it first came on the scene, it was heavily studied thereafter and quickly debunked as worthless.
It may boost libido at most, but even then the evidence is rocky.
Saw Palmetto is good for the prostate, but not much else…
Usually used by older guys who are concerned about their health – or guys on post steroid cycle therapy.
Saw Palmetto is good for helping out with your overall prostate health and helps promote urinary flow.
Nice to know, but it doesn’t help boost your T-levels.
The Fenugreek is a better choice…
More a libido enhancer than anything else, but this nutrient still has some testosterone boosting qualities.
This is because the herb has the ability to regulate blood sugar, and in doing so helps reduce the overall amount of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin.
It’s good to have in T-Booster, it’s just a shame that it’s part of a proprietary blend.
But the Soy Seed is both good and bad…
Some studies suggest that soy seed is good for testosterone levels through an indirect approach.
After being absorbed by your body it has the potential to reduce your cortisol levels.
This your stress hormone – and a huge sapper of testosterone.
With less coritsol you should be able to get more out of your T-Levels.
However, there’s another problem.
Soy is a known psytoestrogenic – it can help produce estrogen.
This is the exact opposite of what we want, and we can only hope that it’s a very low dose in Test Ignition.
And the Tongkat Ali does jack for your T-Levels…
This is a libido enhancer. Nothing more.
Although Tongkat Ali (or Longjack as it’s also known) has been claimed in the past to boost testosterone levels, there has been no study to support this.
The most it’ll do is give you a mild libido boost if it’s dosed correctly.
Again, as this is a proprietary blend we have no way of knowing.
Ingredients Bottom Line:
This product ain’t great.
And a big problem is that proprietary blend – and that under-dosed D-Aspartic Acid.
The only ingredients worth having in Test Ignition are the Zinc and Magnesium. That’s it.
I would seriously look elsewhere if you’re looking for an effective testosterone booster.

Human Evolution Test Ignition Review Conclusion
Honestly, this is a pretty shoddy testosterone booster.
If you’re thinking about using Test Ignition in your stack – don’t.
Here’s why:
- Only 2 effective ingredients – Zinc and Magnesium are the only T-Boosters here that aren’t too under-dosed
- Under-dosed – The D-Aspartic Acid is about 1200mg shy of being effective in any way – and that’s a core T-Booster
- Proprietary Blend – Many of the ingredients we don’t even know the dosages for – we can’t know how effective they actually are
- Ineffective Ingredinets – Trib has been seen time and time again to have no impact on T-Levels
- Poor Serving Schedule – Only 2 servings a day – you T-levels need more than that to effectively grow.
As you can see there’s a lot wrong with it.
