In this review, we take a closer look at this product to see just how effective it really is.

How are the servings?


With only one scoop a day (yes, this is a powder) you essentially leave your testosterone levels out to dry for 24 hours at a time.

This is bad. Testosterone boosting takes a lot of support to get it off the ground, and in doing so you need a lot of servings.

Ideally what you need is 3 – 4 servings a day of something in capsule form so it can be both convenient and accessible.

What about the ingredients in Gr8Test?

Definitely not the “Greatest”.

There are some good ingredients in this t-booster, but there are also some bad ones too.

It’s made up of several proprietary blends – this means we don’t know how much of each ingredient is being used… And when we do, it’s been under dosed in places.

Vitamin D

Technically a hormone, Vitamin D3 has been linked in numerous studies to the increase of testosterone.

Not only does it support the male hormone it also helps promote bone health and various other essential functions.

However studies have shown you need 3300 IU+ for substantial results, Gr8Test only contains 400 IU.


A solid mineral for free testosterone.

Magnesium has been observed in studies to inhibit Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, the protein that strips testosterone of its anabolic properties.

With less active SHBG in your system, the freer and more available your testosterone levels are.

D-Aspartic Acid

A fantastic t-booster.

DAA is used for reactions in the brain that help create the Luteinizing Hormone (LH).

This is essential, and works as the precursor for both growth hormone and testosterone.


Maca however is not so effective.

Once thought to boost T-Levels, further studies have shown that Maca may only have a mild effect on libido – with your testosterone remaining unaffected.


Another poor choice.

Studies have only shown Chrysin to boost testosterone when it is injected directly into the testes.

There are no reports of successful oral supplementation.


Similarly, DIM follows the same patten.

Thought to have some effect as an aromatase inhibitor – estrogen blocker, however studies have shown that it is on the whole ineffective.


An amino acid that may promote energy and metabolism.

However there is no evidence of this nutrient boosting testosterone.

Nettle Root

Another good one for free testosterone.

Nettle Root contains Beta Sitosterol, an inhibitor of SHBG – this can promote your overall free testosterone.

Chaste Tree

An irrelevant ingredient.

Chaste Tree has been use most often to reduce menstrual cramps – it has no effect on testosterone.


An ineffective T-booster.

Like Maca, LongJack was thought to promote overall testosterone.

However, after further research this shown to not be the case, with LongJack having no effect on T, and a mild effect on libido.


May promote cognitive health in high doses.

It does not promote testosterone.


Good for blood flow, not for testosterone.

In studies using 4 – 8g of Citrulline Malate (which is far more than this product) studies have shown it increases overall blood flow and muscle pumps.

It does not help testosterone.


Ineffective when supplemented orally.

Arginine promotes nitric oxide which dilates blood vessels for maximum blood flow.

However it is poorly absorbed when supplemented orally.gr8test-results-1

Ingredients Bottom Line:

On the whole, this isn’t the best T-Boosting profile.

Some core ingredients are there (D3, D-Aspartic Acid, Magnesium) – but not all of the values are.

It’s a proprietary blend, and in some places under-dosed.

In some cases we don’t know how much of each ingredient we’re getting – and in others there’s just not enough.

There are also some ineffective ingredients here which are wasting space with no clinical backing.

Side Effects

Despite the long ingredient profile, there seem to be no side effects reported with Gr8Test.

On the whole this isn’t the best Testosterone Booster you’ll come across and there are several reasons why.

From this review, you need to know the following about Gr8Test:

  • Poor Servings – Only 1 a day. This does not promote day long T-Boosting.
  • Powder Form – Inconvenient to carry around a tub.
  • Ineffective Ingredients – Many of the nutrients used lack clinical backing.
  • Proprietary Blends – Don’t know the dosages for many of the nutrients in Gr8Test.
