Review Overview – How does BRI Testrone Extra Strength work?
Testrone is a natural testosterone booster released by the folks at BRI Nutrition – and it has been featured a lot on Amazon.
So a lot of you have been asking:
Does it actually work?
On the face of it BRI claims Testrone:
- Promotes Energy
- Aids Body Fat Loss
- Improves Muscle Growth
- Improves Muscle Recovery
All the standard benefits we’d expect to hear – but does it really do that?
This review gets to the bottom of BRI Testrone and if it really is worth the money.

How are the servings?
Poor.
With only one serving a day, Testrone doesn’t do the best job of promoting your testosterone.
What you should be looking for: The optimum amount of servings for testosterone boosters is around 3 – 4 servings a day.
This keeps your body constantly supplied with the nutrients it needs to produce the most testosterone.
Only one a day slows down this process dramatically.
Does it have Good Ingredients?
Not Really.
Although this product contains no proprietary blends (we know how much of each ingredient we’re getting) it just let’s us know how bad this product is – and potentially, how dangerous.
Here’s the list:
Zinc is a good ingredient but 200mg per serving is way too much…
It’s a great mineral for boosting testosterone, it increases your body’s production of the luteinizing hormone which is the precursor to testosterone and growth hormone.
However, there are limits.
The 200mg dosage is nearly 4 and half times as much as the recommended Tolerable Upper Limit of Intake! This can lead to severe side effects that we’ll discuss further down.
Tongkat Ali is good for libido, but not much else…
As known as Longjack, studies have come forward showing the herb to have some effect on libido, but none on testosterone.
And Tribulus is no better…
Tribulus Terrestris is one of the most overrated nutrients you can come across.
Originally marketed to boost testosterone – the studies that followed this proved otherwise.
It provides no benefit to testosterone levels, and barely any to libido.
At least the Magnesium is better…
This mineral is good for improving your testosterone’s availability.
By reducing the amount of Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG) – a protein that binds to up to 60% of your testosterone you can use more of your testosterone and make faster muscle gains.
But the DIM is a worry…
A compound found in broccoli, thought to have some effect as an aromatase inhibitor (estrogen suppressant) but there is no solid proof of it being effective.
The Boron’s good though…
Another solid mineral for the testosterone boosting process – boron has been linked in numerous studies to improvements in free testosterone and less SHBG.
Ingredients: Bottom Line
Overall, there’s only two ingredients that will help you here – the magnesium and the boron.
Usually we’d include the zinc – but this time it’s far too much.

– Best T-Boosting Ingredients –
Side Effects
Our main concern with Testrone Extra Strength is the Zinc.
There’s 200mg of it.
That’s 155mg over the recommended tolerable upper limits!
Too much Zinc can give you side effects such as:
- Headaches
- Nausea
- Dizziness
- Copper Deficiency
You’d be wise to stay far away from this product.

BRI Testrone Extra Strength Review Conclusion
Overall this is a pretty poor testosterone booster.
The only nutrients in this product that will give you any benefit is the magnesium and the boron.
Here are the main problems:
- Poor Serving Schedule – With only 1 serving a day, your T levels aren’t being supplied enough for continuous growth
- Side Effects – There’s too much Zinc in this product and can risk copper deficiency and other serious side effects
- Ineffective Ingredients – Trib and DIM are poor choices. There is no solid evidence of them supporting T-levels
Needless to say, this isn’t the right T-booster for you.
