Review Overview – What does Blue Star Status do?
Made by Blue Star Nutraceuticals, this is an all natural testosterone booster claimed to promote:
- Energy
- Strength
- Mood
- Testosterone
But how well does it really work?
In this review; we look closer at Status to see how effective it really is.
This is what you need to know:
How are the servings?
Poor.
With only 1 serving a day – you’re not giving your body the constant supply of nutrients it needs to efficiently raise testosterone.
Think about it. The effects of the supplement wear off after a few hours. So where does that leave you for the rest of the day?
For the best results you need to give your body a constant supply.
Ideally this is around 3 – 4 a day – this keeps your body constantly topped up and your T levels on the rise.
Serious improvements could be made here.
What about the ingredients in Blue Star Status?
Not great.
There are only a few good ingredients in this product.
Sadly the rest are either ineffective or very indirect when it comes to boosting testosterone.
It’s not the most reliable T-Booster out there.
Here’s what you need to know:
Magnesium
One of the better minerals for ‘free’ (available) testosterone.
Magnesium works by how it impacts Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG).
This is a protein that binds to circulating testosterone and strips it of its anabolic potency – making it ineffective.
Magnesium inhibits SHBG lowering its overall activity giving you more available testosterone,
Zinc
A solid mineral for testosterone boosting.
Zinc is used for several reactions in the brain which help promote LH – the luteinzing hormone.
LH is the precursor to both testosterone and growth hormone. It’s a solid ingredient to have in any t-booster.
Ashwagandha
A good indirect testosterone booster.
Ashwagandha has been seen to lower overall levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
Cortisol has a direct effect on testosterone and can lower your overall level.
With less cortisol, your T can rise higher.
LongJack
A poorer choice.
LongJack (Eurycoma Longifolia) has been aggressively marketed as a T booster.
But does it actually work?
Studies seem to show that it doesn’t. Most evidence shows that LongJack has no effect on T levels, with only a mild effect on libido.
DIM
A component commonly found in broccoli.
DIM may work as an aromatase inhibitor (estrogen suppressant) however there is a lack of evidence.
It looks like it could be promising though.
Fenugreek
One of the better libido enhancers.
Fenugreek has been seen to promote sex drive but also regulate blood sugar levels.
This could indirectly promote testosterone by the nutrient’s ability to lower insulin.
Insulin directly lowers testosterone so the less of it you have in your system the better.
Bioperine
Essentially black pepper.
May improve absorption – but won’t help testosterone levels directly.
Atralgus/NotoGinseng
Promotes blood flow, not overall testosterone levels.
Ingredients Bottom Line: On the whole, this isn’t the best nutrient profile on the market. There’s only 3 good ingredients in this product – the Zinc, Magnesium and Fenugreek. It seems to be nothing more than a glorified ZMA supplement. For testosterone boosting, this isn’t your best option and there are plenty of better choices out there.
Side Effects
Despite the overall poor choice of ingredients – there have been no side effects reported with Status.
Although safe, a lot needs improving on this product.

Blue Star Nutraceuticals Status Review Conclusion
On the whole, this isn’t the best testosterone booster on the market.

- Poor Servings – With only 1 serving a day, you won’t give your body that constant supply to keep raising T.
- Ineffective ingredients – Many of the nutrients used lack proper clinical backing.
