GH Peak is a growth hormone/natural testosterone booster from Blue Star.
But what exactly does it do?
- Well it’s claimed to:
- Increase Muscle Growth
- Improve Sleep
However whether it works or not is a different question.
In this review we look at the servings, ingredients and side effects of GH Peak to see if it really is worth the money.
How are the servings?
Poor.
With only one serving a day, you’re not going to get enough top-ups to effectively boost testosterone.
Nutrient flow must be constant to ensure the best results so ideally you need 3 – 4 servings a day to ensure the best results.

What about the ingredients in GH Peak?
They’re not great.
Honestly there’s only a handful of good ingredients in this product, and also half of it is a proprietary blend.
A proprietary blend is when the ingredients involved have all their dosages under 1 value. You don’t know how much you’re getting, or how effective it will be.
This is what you need to know:
Arginine
An amino acid thought to raise blood flow and circulation. This may help with muscle pumps and blood flow.
However, studies have shown oral supplementation may not be that effective as it is not absorbed efficiently.
L-Lysine
An amino acid that may help reduce muscle breakdown.
It may have some effect but it will not promote testosterone levels.
Valerian
A tea that may have anxiety reducing effects.
This may help reduce cortisol, the stress hormone which directly lowers testosterone.
However there is not much evidence out there for this root lowering cortisol.
Ashwagandha
Ashwagandha on the other hand has been seen to reduce cortisol.
A herb that reduces stress. Ashwagandha lowers overall cortisol levels, which in turn improves testosterone levels.
5-Hydroxy-L-Tryptophan
Also known as 5HTP, a compound which may increase serotonin levels – feel good hormones.
However studies have shown for this to be effective you need around 300 – 500mg.
There’s only 100mg in GH peak.
Melatonin
A nutrient used to improve your quality of sleep.
It may be effective if taken right before bed, otherwise it may make you drowsy.
It does not effect testosterone levels.
Bioperine
Essentially black pepper.
This nutrient increases bioavailability and body absorption which may make nutrients slightly faster acting.
Panax Ginseng
An indirect testosterone booster. Panax ginseng regulates blood sugar and insulin levels.
Insulin lowers testosterone. With less of it, testosterone levels can rise faster and you can make more progress.
Sodium Alpha Lipoic Acid
Thought to boost metabolism, but needs to be taken in high doses to achieve this.
It does not improve testosterone levels.
Succinate
Contains a lot of vitamin E. May increase immunity but not much else.
Ingredients bottom line:
Overall, there’s only one solid ingredient here: the ginseng and maybe the ashwagandha.
Core testosterone boosting nutrients such as Vitamin D3, D-Aspartic Acid and Zinc are key to both T and growth hormone and none of them are present.
It’s a poor nutrient profile in Blue Star GH Peak and there are better options out there.

Side Effects
There have been no reported side effects with this product.
It’s thought that 5-HTP may in some cases cause nausea, but there’s not nearly enough here for that to happen.
